Spring after-school programs at Sanibel Sea School
Beginning March 5, the Sanibel Sea School will offer a new, four-week season of After School Science centered on renewable energy.
Participants ages 6-13 will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to discover through hands-on activities how clean energy can be harvested from the sun, wind, water and earth.
“We’re going to do things like build solar powered cars and harvest energy from waves,” educator Johnny Rader said. “There are so many fun ways to explore alternative energy, and I can’t wait to set up some great activities for my students to enjoy and learn from.”
The sessions will be held on March 5, March 12, March 26 and March 2.
The cost is $20 per student per session.
