Myakka River Bluegrass Band to perform at SCUCC

The Myakka River Bluegrass Band will return for Bluegrass Sunday on Feb. 10 at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ.
One of the most popular services each year at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ is Bluegrass Sunday, which this year will be held on Feb. 10 at 2050 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
The Myakka River Bluegrass Band, a group that performs regularly in Southwest Florida, will play during the 9 a.m. blended worship service and the 11 a.m. traditional worship service. The choir will join the 11 a.m. service with an anthem to fit the occasion, and the blended-service trio will provide additional music at 9 a.m. There will also be a fellowship hour after the 9 a.m. service.
The services with special music continue a long-standing tradition at the SCUCC.
