The American Legion Post 123, at 4929 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, presents the following:
– Jan. 31: Open Mic Night from 6 to 9 p.m.
The legion will host a Super Bowl Party on Feb. 3, featuring a free buffet starting at 1 p.m.; donations appreciated. There will be a nine-ball tournament at 1 p.m., followed by live music from 2 to 6 p.m. The game will be shown on a 58-inch flat screen, with a raffle at halftime; tickets are $5 each or seven for $20.
Food is served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Wednesday, spaghetti and meatballs; Friday, ribeye steak sandwich; Tuesdays, tacos. There are also daily specials and half-pound burgers available.
On Mondays, an eight-ball pool league starts at 5 p.m.
American flags that need to be retired can be dropped off.
Open to the public, hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
