Sanibel Sea School to offer field trip as adult program
Part of its winter season of educational opportunities for adults, the Sanibel Sea School will host a field trip on Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon to learn about harmful algal blooms, or HABs.
It will be led by the marine biologist and Executive Director Dr. Bruce Neill.
Participants will learn about the organisms that cause red tide and other HABs in the area, how these blooms impact the ecosystem, and what the public can do as individuals to help solve the problem.
The cost is $10. To RSVP, call 239-472-8585.
