Sanibel Community Church to offer GriefShare support
Sanibel Community Church will provide GriefShare from Jan. 8 through April 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
GriefShare is a seminar and a support group for grief recovery. It is a 13-week, structured program featuring national experts on grief recovery topics.
Each session will consist of a video to watch, plus a group discussion that allows participants to talk about the content of the seminar and share how they are dealing with their loss. Attendance is free, but for those who would like to purchase the GriefShare book there will be a $20 fee.
Seminar topics will include:
– “Is This Normal?”
– “The Challenges of Grief”
– “Grief and your Relationships”
– “Why?”
– “Guilt and Anger”
