SanCap Lions serving as sponsor for 1927 Gala
The Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club is a lead sponsor for the Sanibel Community Association’s “1927 Gala Imagine: A Night To Remember,” scheduled for Jan. 25 at The Community House on Sanibel.
“The Community House is a true treasure on the island and we are honored to participate in this year’s gala,” President Bob Kern said.
The event will celebrate 90-plus years of the facility’s presence on Sanibel. Guests will enjoy top-notch food, drink and music, as well as a live auction featuring items donated by the business community.
“We are grateful to have the Lions join our lead sponsors for our first gala event,” Teresa Riska-Hall, executive director for The Community House, said. “It will be a night to remember.”
Proceeds from the gala will cover expenses from the recent renovations.
