Noah’s Ark to presents annual fashion show in February
Noah’s Ark will host its annual fashion show extravaganza, “Bright and Beautiful,” on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, at 2304 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
It will feature fashions currently on sale at the island thrift shop.
The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free.
According to general Chair Liz Coffey, volunteers and other parishioners model active wear and lifestyle fashions, as well as festive evening costumes, “anything on sale that they love.” There will be door prizes, featuring new items donated to the Ark, with music provided by pianist Rich Mattern.
Attendees are encouraged to wear outfits that they have purchased from the store.
“The show is our way of thanking those who support the Ark,” Coffey said.
In addition, the Women of St. Michael’s will present a check to Partners for Breast Cancer Care.
“We are delighted that the phenomenal success of the Ark, along with outreach money budgeted by the parish, enables St. Michael’s to award so many grants to critically important charities and causes,” St. Michael’s Rector Ellen Sloan said.
Refreshments will be provided after the show, and the modeled clothing will be for sale.
