Shell Point has announced the roster for its fourth annual 2019 Medical Breakthroughs & Discoveries speaker series, a free community health care resource.

Sponsored by The Legacy Foundation at Shell Point in conjunction with Shell Point Wellness Connections, the series will feature local and national experts who will address recent advances in the fields of regenerative medicine, Alzheimer’s disease, nutrition, chronic disease and more.

“Each year the caliber of our speakers has grown. This year we are excited to welcome health care experts to share updates on the latest advances in medical research and health care practice,” Jeff Cory, executive director of The Legacy Foundation at Shell Point, said.

– Jan. 28 at 2 p.m.: “Advances in Alzheimer’s Disease” presented by Dr. Amanda Smith, of the Byrd Alzheimer’s Center and Research Institute at the University of South Florida Health

– Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.: “Nutrition Meets Modern Medicine: The Key to Reversing Chronic Disease” presented by Dr. Michael Klaper, author and speaker

– March 26 at 7 p.m.: “Make This the Healthiest Year of Your Life Yet!” presented by Dr. Malissa Wood, of the Massachusetts General Hospital
