COTI Conversations to address island issues
The Committee of the Islands will host COTI Conversations on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. in the Founders’ Room at The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
The topics will include whether to ban gasoline-powered leaf blowers, financial issues at the Sanibel Recreation Center, suggested options for renovating the Center 4 Life, the proposed Eden Oak development, resilience planning, shared-use path concerns and new developments on water quality.
Board Members Barbara Joy Cooley and Mike Miller will moderate the event.
COTI Conversations is open to members and individuals wishing to become members. The purpose of the gatherings is to review the matters of concern and hear opinions from the COTI membership.
Memberships will be available at the door.
