Kids Tag Art
The selection committee for Kids Tag Art, organized by the Lee County Tax Collector and the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, has selected the Award of Distinction winners for the 2018-19 school year. Two winners from each of the 47 participating schools were picked. From Sanibel, congratulations go to students Molly Dunn and Anna Anderson-Kilgore. Both their license plates will represent the school and be available for the public to purchase online at www.leetc.com.
Luminary
Some students exhibited their artwork at the free Luminary event, “A Sanibel ’70s Christmas: Change Comes Riding In,” at the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village on Dec. 7. The following were selected to showcase theirs:

Annual Turkey Trot results
The annual Turkey Trot was held on Nov. 20 at the school. The following middle-schoolers came in first, second, and third place:

– Sixth-grade males: Cole Fields, Noah Ashley and Landon Williams
– Seventh-grade females: Lydia Whalen, Maya Brennan and Lilly Noorlander

– Eighth-grade females: Bailey Drobnyk and Cameron Peach
