Scotch bonnet found on Sanibel

Judy Watson, of Citrus Springs, has a tradition of spending her birthday week visiting Sanibel with her husband, Sam. On her birthday, Dec. 12, she decided to start the chilly morning looking for seashells behind the Sundial Condominiums on Sanibel. Searching through a cluster of shells in a tide pool, she found a four-inch scotch bonnet. Watson called it a once-in-a-lifetime find and a birthday present she will never forget.
