SCC plans services to celebrate Christmas Eve
Sanibel Community Church will host multiple services on Dec. 24 to mark Christmas Eve.
There will be a contemporary worship service, featuring traditional carols with a contemporary flare, along with a special time for children and a visit from the shepherds with their sheep at 4 p.m.
At 6 p.m., a second contemporary service will be held at the church, followed by a traditional Christmas Eve service with full choir, shepherds and flock in the main sanctuary at 8 p.m.
In keeping with tradition, the church will host an 11 p.m. service in the Historic Chapel, which will conclude at midnight with the sharing of the Lord’s Supper together.
Each service will conclude with the lighting of the candles and singing of “Silent Night.”
A special offering will be received at the four services for Community Housing & Resources.
