Registration open for annual Night to Shine event

1 min read

Sanibel Community Church will serve as one of nearly 500 churches around the world registered to simultaneously host Night to Shine on Feb. 8, which is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

The event is a prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older.

Guest and volunteer registration is now open at www.swflnighttoshine.com.

SCC reported that it is excited to be a part of the worldwide movement that God is using as a catalyst to change how culture embraces people with special needs and to rally the church worldwide to stand up for those who are differently-abled.

Every Night to Shine guest enters the complimentary event on a red carpet, complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Inside, they receive the royal treatment, such as hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors and dance floor – all leading up to the crowning of a king or queen of the prom.
