Part II of Jeffcoat’s work on exhibit

“Hollis Jeffcoat: My Life in Paint” Part II is on display through Jan. 4 at the Watson MacRae Gallery on Sanibel. The new exhibit is an extension of November’s retrospective, “Hollis Jeffcoat: My Life in Paint” Part I, which chronicled her life and career. In Part II, different paintings, drawings and prints from Jeffcoat’s major series are presented. The exhibit includes work created in France, Canada, New York City and Sanibel. The exhibits are a tribute to her genius as a painter and a picture into her heart and soul, for that is what Jeffcoat put into each of her paintings.
