Lightning whelk found on Sanibel

Karelle Potts, of Great Falls, Montana, recently found a large lightning whelk at low tide near the Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel. She and her husband, Steve, visit Sanibel several times a year and are owners at the Shell Island Beach Club.
