The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company will be a platinum sponsor for the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village’s Historical Village Gala on Feb. 19 from 6 to 10 a.m. at The Community House on Sanibel.

The theme of the event is “An Evening on the Old Algiers.”

“The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company has enjoyed a long and enriching relationship with the Sanibel Historical Village,” Steve Greenstein, executive vice president at the Trust Company and village board member, said. “We are honored to partner together once again to bring this season’s programs to residents and visitors alike.”

The gala will include a buffet dinner and dancing, as well as opportunities to learn about the history of the Algiers river boat that once sat on the beaches of Sanibel.

Starting Dec. 7, tickets can be purchased at sanibelmuseum.org or 239-472-4648.

“We are grateful to the Trust Company for its generous support of our event,” Emilie Alfino, executive director of the village, said. “They have demonstrated strong support not just for the village but for the entire island community. They make Sanibel a better place.”

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village is at 950 Dunlop Road.
