Members of St. Isabel Catholic Church’s Women’s Guild held their annual Christmas Social to officially begin their holiday charity programs on Dec. 6. Gathering in the church hall following a morning Mass, the women enjoyed festive desserts at a holiday gift exchange. The spirit of gift giving continued with the parishioners assembling over 200 gift bags, filling them with toiletries to be given to the women of Catholic Charities in the area. The guild’s annual Angel Tree Project was once again a tremendous success, bringing joy to children in need whose names and gift wishes were hung on a Christmas tree for parishioners to take a tag and then fulfill each child’s holiday wish.
