First-ever fundraiser called a success
The Sanibel School PTA hosted Adults Night Out on Nov. 10 at The Community House on Sanibel. Larry Klass and Leon Novembre, with the national group Felix and Fingers, performed on the dueling pianos. There was free beer and wine, followed by a full cash bar and heavy hors d’oeuvre throughout the night. Made up of volunteer members, the PTA is responsible for helping to raise additional funds to support the school’s needs, like supplies for the classrooms, a variety of educational activities, the purchase of books and workbooks, assistance for the music and theatre programs, and more.
