BIG ARTS to host Open Mic
The BIG ARTS Strauss Theatre will open its doors and stage today, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. for the first Open Mic of the season. Southwest Florida poets and writers will perform their latest works and attendees are invited to join them on stage by reading a favorite poem or prose passage. Prize-winning poet Jim Gustafson will jump start the evening with selections from his latest collection. To participate, come early and sign the reader list. Admission is $5 at the door; cash only.
