Annual Turkey Drop and Roll set
The 11th Annual Turkey Drop and Roll will take place on Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at 1417 Jamaica Drive, Sanibel.
Organizers will be collecting frozen turkeys to be donated to the Salvation Army for its Thanksgiving Day dinner or to be given to people in the community.
Last year, the event collected 84 turkeys totaling more than 1350 pounds. Over the last 10 years, there have been 754 turkeys collected, totaling more than 11,800 pounds.
Cash donations will also be accepted and used to buy frozen turkeys for the cause.
