Vegetation trimming continues on Sanibel-Captiva Road
The city reported that the vegetation on Sanibel-Captiva Road will be trimmed from Tarpon Bay Road to Blind Pass and on Casa Ybel Road from Periwinkle Way to Tarpon Bay now through Oct. 17.
The work will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Due to the work, one lane may be intermittently closed to traffic for short periods of time.
Be prepared to expect delays. Officials are requesting that drivers and pedestrians to proceed slowly and cautiously through the area when workers are present.
