French baker Chef Andre Gratesol, of Aux Delices, hosted his second in a series of French pastry classes on Oct. 5 at The Community House on Sanibel. He and his assistant demonstrated well-known favorites made with puff pastry – from Napoleons and Palmiers, to savory and sweet – made with apples, apricots and pastry creme. Attendees not only got to taste the treats, but took samples home to share. Baking classes with Gratesol are $50 per person. The Community House is at 2173 Periwinkle Way.
