An election was held on Aug. 7 at The Island Water Association.

The employees of association voted unanimously to join The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 2301, District 78 AFL-CIO.

Officials reported that the action will not change the service, commitment or dedication of the association’s employees to its customers and members.
