Sonny and Cher

Three years ago, I trapped four cats – mother and three kittens – between the Sunset Beach Resort and Lantana condominium on West Gulf Drive. All were adopted – Lana, Tanner, Sonny and Cher – to lovely people. However, Sonny and Cher’s mom has reached a time in her life when she feels she must move in with family on Pine Island. Unfortunately, in addition to her granddaughter being allergic, her son operates a business out of his house that is directly on Pine Island Road and the doors are always opening and closing – not safe for kitties. These are very special kitties and should be together forever. Anyone who can give them a loving forever home can contact Pam at PAWS at 239-472-4823.

Matilda

Matilda, or “Tilly” for short per her foster mom, is about 1 year old. She was found in the area near East Lake Road and Casa Ybel Road on Aug. 3. Some kind people took her in for the night, then PAWS brought her to a vet the following morning for a check up. Matilda was combo tested – negative – had FVRCP and rabies immunizations, and was treated for fleas. She will be spayed in the first week of September. Matilda did not have a microchip. PAWS was unable to find her family, so she is available for adoption. She is a sweet girl and loves to cuddle. Those interested in giving Matilda a forever home can contact Pam at PAWS at 239-472-4823.

Sasha

Sasha was picked up by the Sanibel police on Aug. 15 on Airport Road off of Casa Ybel Road after a call was received from a resident. She appears young, approximately 1 year old or so, has no microchip and is a tan/black tabby. She does not appear to be spayed yet; it will likely be done the first week in September. Sasha is sweet and gentle. She went to a foster home on Aug. 30, but is in need of a forever one. Her combo test for FIV/FeLV/heartworms was negative, and she has been given immunizations for FVRCP, FeLV, rabies and given a heartworm and flea preventative. Those interested in giving Sasha a loving home can contact Pam at PAWS at 239-472-4823.
