New ‘Peek’ ticket purchase programs to open to public
The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva recently announced two new methods to secure tickets for its 18th annual “A Peek at the Unique” tour of island homes in March, and both will go into effect on Nov. 1.
Set for March 16, “Peek” is the signature fundraiser for the club and Zonta Foundation of Southwest Florida. All proceeds are awarded in grants to organizations that help empower women and girls.
“This innovation is a great way to gather neighbors, relatives, business associates, tennis or golf buddies, clubs, special interest groups, or groups of any kind to enjoy ‘A Peek at the Unique’ together, without service fees or extra charges,” event chair Susan Tucker said. “Plus, you won’t be disappointed, since the ‘Peek’ traditionally sells out.”
The first program is “Buy a Bus.” Through Nov. 30, groups can purchase all of the seats on a Peek bus, prior to the time the tickets go on sale online. To do so:
– Assemble a group of 24, 27 or 39 Peekers; the bus sizes vary.
– Pay for the seats at $100 per person by Nov. 30, with no service fees or extra charges.
– As a bonus, each Peeker will receive one free chance at the unique raffle ticket, valued at $10.
The second program is “Buy a Block.” Through Nov. 30, a smaller group can reserve six seats or more on a bus, prior to the time the tickets go on sale online. To do so:
– Assemble a group of six or more
– Pay for the seats at $100 per person by Nov. 30, with no service fees or extra charges.
Organizers noted that the club cannot guarantee all bus times will be available for either group; those that are available will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Regular “Peek” ticket sales will open to the public on Jan. 1.
