Sanibel Community Church
Sanibel Community Church will host a Trunk or Treat event today, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
There will be trunks brimming with candy. Families can also play games and enjoy snacks.

In addition, the church’s H2O Student Ministries will host its first annual “Treat & Meet” today, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1575 Bunting Lane, Sanibel.
H2O Student Ministries is a youth program for sixth- through 12th-graders that meets on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. for middle-schoolers and from 6 to 8 p.m. for high-schoolers, as well as on Sundays at 11 a.m. at Sanibel Community Church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way. All students on the islands and in the surrounding communities are welcome.

The Community House
The Community House will host a Halloween/Fall Family Candy and Costume Carnival today, Oct. 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Wear your costume and have fun at the carnival-style festival. There will be games with candy, a prize booth, dining area serving $2 meals and hay rides.
Admission is a bag of candy.
Lily & Co. Jewelers, Sanibel Catering Co.
Lily & Co. Jewelers, co-sponsored by Sanibel Catering Co., will host a Halloween Party from 5 to 9 p.m. at 520 Tarpon Bay Road, Sanibel.
Eight local celebrities will transform into drag queens and perform under a hand-picked stage name at 7 p.m. Guests will vote for their favorite contestant, with the winner raising the most money.
In addition, there will be live and silent auctions.
Sanibel Catering Co. will serve up a buffet-style meal and refreshments, including a cash bar of wine and beer.
Proceeds will benefit Community Housing and Resources on Sanibel.
The entrance fee of $35 includes food and two drink tickets.
