City announces planned road closures for 10K race
The city of Sanibel reported that due to the 10th annual 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H., the following roads will be closed on Oct. 27 during the listed times:
– Tarpon Bay Road from Periwinkle Way to West Gulf Drive from 7 to 10 a.m.
– Island Inn Road from Tarpon Bay Road to West Gulf Drive from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
– Eastbound Periwinkle Way from Palm Ridge Road to Casa Ybel Road from 7 to 8:15 a.m.
– Southbound Casa Ybel Road from Periwinkle Way to Tarpon Bay Road from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
The times are approximate and depend on the length of time it takes participants to clear an area.
Motorists are advised to be alert for pedestrians in these areas and should carefully follow law enforcement’s instructions and event traffic signage. Motorists can expect delays.
