Sanibel Community Church to offer GriefShare support
Sanibel Community Church will provide GriefShare on Tuesdays from Aug. 21 through Nov. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
GriefShare is a scripture-based healing ministry and support group for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. It is a 13-week, structured program featuring national experts on grief recovery topics.
Each session will consist of a video to watch, plus a discussion that allows participants to share how they are dealing with their loss, and a workbook for journaling, personal study and application of concepts presented on the videos.
Seminar topics will include:
– “Is This Normal?”
– “The Challenges of Grief”
– “Grief and your Relationships”
– “Why?”
– “Guilt and Anger”
Registration is not required and participants may start at anytime.
There is a $15 fee to purchase the workbook that accompanies the presentations.
