Rec enter to offer swim training for triathlon participants
SWAT swim coach and former triathlete Curt McIntyre will run a six-week swim program at the Sanibel Recreation Center for anyone training for an upcoming triathlon.
The program is designed to improve participants’ endurance, speed and stroke technique.
The sessions will be offered Aug. 6 to Sept. 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The cost is $33 for members and $44 for non-members.
The center will be closed to the public through Aug. 5 for annual maintenance. Register online in advance at www.mysanibel.com or register in-person at the center when it reopens on Aug. 6.
