Immokalee children visit ‘Ding’ Darling refuge

The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Society recently donated funds to provide transportation to and a day of education today at the refuge for 55 children from the Guadalupe Center in Immokalee. Education intern Emily Schwartz is shown sharing the skeletal parts of local animals with the youth. The group also hiked to the Wildlife Education Boardwalk and enjoyed lunch at the refuge.
