One of Sanibel resident Marsha Crawford’s entries made the head table at the 67th annual Hibiscus Show and Plant Sale on June 3, which was hosted by the James E. Hendry Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society. Love Story, which earned the John Martin Award in May at a show in Punta Gorda, took Best Amateur Double. Crawford, who is the newly-elected vice president of the local chapter, explained that attendance at the Fort Myers show was big and over 700 plants were sold in about one hour.
