Sanibel Christian Preschool presents themed summer camp
Sanibel Christian Preschool is offering summer camp for children ages 3-7.
The registration deadline is in mid-May, with the first weeklong session to begin on June 4. The camp will be taught by the preschool teachers and each weekly session includes art and music activities.
Children may attend one or more of the following sessions:
– June 4-8: Storytelling
Children will develop storytelling skills as they listen to stories read to them and are given the chance to create and illustrate their own. Finish the week with Pajama Day on Friday and a dramatization of a story they learned throughout the week.
– June 11-15: Fun and Fitness
Students will continue developing motor skills as they take part in fitness activities such as relay races, obstacle courses, dancing, stretching exercises and more. They will also learn about nutritious food.
– June 18-22: Amazing Race
Children will practice working in teams as they go through different stations, where they must complete challenges that include art and science projects, math, reading activities and more.
– June 25-29: Water World
Children will learn about the ocean and river ecosystems and what they can do to take care of them. The week will conclude with fun water day activities and games on Friday.
