Soprano Niedung to perform at Sanibel Congregational United

The German-American soprano Konstanze Niedung will perform an informal recital of art songs and opera arias, including works by German, French, Italian and American composers, on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 3 p.m.
Konstanze received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York, and a Master of Music Degree with Distinction and Honors in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a finalist and Third Place Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council New England Regional Auditions and a recipient of a vocal fellowship to sing at the prestigious Tanglewoood Music Center in Massachusetts.
At home with art song and lighter classics, as well as opera, she has sung numerous recitals. She currently lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany.
