Chapel By-the-Sea presents 2011 Lenten Bible study series
On Wednesday, March 23, the 2011 Lenten program at the Captiva Chapel By-the-Sea will continue with the second of four presentations by Rev. Thomas Nyman, the chapel minister.
The Bible Study will focus on “The Acts of the Apostles: Origin, Content and Meaning.” The book of Acts reports on the first thirty years of the life of the Church. It tells of the missionary work of Peter and Paul and describes their activities.
We will explore together what it means for us today. All are welcome.
Weather permitting, we will gather on the Chapel Yard for four consecutive Wednesdays — until April 6 — from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Chapel By-the-Sea is located at 11580 Chapin Lane, Captiva.
