Bunche Beach bird watching event this weekend
Experience the Beautiful Birds of Bunche Beach with a Bird Patrol Guide on Saturday, July 25 from 8 to 10 a.m.
Participants are asked to meet in the parking lot at Bunche Beach, located at the south end of John Morris off Summerlin Road in South Fort Myers.
This trip is excellent for both migrant and resident wading and shorebirds working the mudflats at low tide due to the diversity of micro-invertebrates.
For more information, call 239-707-3015. This event is free and provided in cooperation with Lee County Parks and Recreation.
Bring your own binoculars, sun protection, shoes that can get wet, a bottle of drinking water, your curiosity and a love of nature.
