The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum is delighted to announce that The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is the Junonia Grand Sponsor again for this year’s Under the Sea gala event. This annual gala, which raises funds to support the Shell Museum’s educational programming, is one of Sanibel’s best seasonal events.

This year’s “Under the Sea” event celebrates “Hits of the Brits” with The British Invasion, a tribute band that plays favorite 1960’s music from The Rolling Stones to The Who. The band takes the stage at the annual event on Sunday, Jan. 26 from 5 – 10 p.m. at The Sanctuary Golf Club.

The Museum leadership is very grateful for the continued support from The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and hopes their support will inspire other corporate and individuals to participate in sponsoring the event. For more information about the event or to learn about more sponsorship opportunities, please contact info@shellmuseum.org or call 395-2233.

The non-profit Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum features more than 30 exhibits of mollusks from around the world and hosts more than 50,000 guests each year. Two half-hour videos about mollusks alternate continuously. The Museum Store offers a selection of shell books and shell-themed items. The Museum is located at 3075 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, FL and is open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
