Book Signing & Storytelling Sunset Cruise
Captiva Cruises will be hosting a special sunset and cocktail cruise featuring Katie Gardenia, original owner and creator of the world-famous Bubble Room restaurant on Captiva Island. Gardenia will share some of her fondest memories and greatest stories with passengers aboard the Lady Chadwick.
Gardenia, who will prepare her famous red velvet cupcakes for the cruise, will be available to personally sign copies of her book that highlights her recipes and experiences while running the Bubble Room.
Her book, entitled “A Bubble Moment,” is a collection of memories, short and tall stories, recollections and secret recipes. This special cruise will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 22 aboard the Lady Chadwick departing from McCarthy’s Marina, which is located next to the infamous Bubble Room in the heart of Captiva.
