Traditions on the Beach hosts second Jazz Night
Last Wednesday, Traditions on the Beach, Restaurant, Bar & Lounge hosted an encore performance of Prime Rib and Prime Jazz. The real treat of the evening was the jazz music performed by Father Al and the Jazz Congregation, featuring “Mr. Swing” himself, Paul Ventura.
Jazz Nights have been particularly popular, and last week’s event hosted nearly 200 guests.
“Our second Jazz Night was just as entertaining as our first!” said host Andrea Mucciga, who insists live music is one of the most important parts of experiencing his restaurant. “We are excited to feature it as a regular event beginning in October, along with other theme nights and events throughout season.”
A special treat during the Aug. 24 event was music by featured saxophone player Woody Brubaker, who played alongside crowd favorites Paul Ventura with Father Al and the Jazz Congregation. Brubaker’s saxophone was an excellent addition to the four-man jazz ensemble.
Traditions on the Beach has live music every night, featuring Joe McCormick, Marvilla Marzan and Barbara Smith. Reservations are suggested. For more information and reservations, call 472-4559 or visit www.TraditionsOnTheBeach.com
