Traditions on the Beach, Restaurant, Bar and Lounge, hosted its first Jazz Night last Wednesday, Aug. 3. The entree special, alongside the regular menu, was Prime Rib, prepared by talented and renowned Executive Chef Aziz.

Chef Aziz is the Executive Chef at Traditions on the Beach, and formerly served as Executive Chef at Bellini’s, Riviera and Dolce Vita Restaurants.

The real treat of the evening was the jazz music performed by Father Al and the Jazz Congregation, featuring “Mr. Swing” himself, Paul Ventura. More than 200 people attended the event, which was filled with music and dancing.

“Our first Jazz Night received an overwhelming response – the night was full of life!” said host Andrea Mucciga, who insists live music is one of the most important parts of experiencing his restaurant. He is already planning the next Traditions on the Beach Jazz Night celebration for Aug. 24.

“It was such a success, that we’ve already planned our next Jazz Night. It will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 24th,” added Mucciga.

The Prime Rib and Prime Jazz will have some added features, such as saxophone player Woody Brubaker. The evening will still boast crowd favorites Paul Ventura with Father Al and the Jazz Congregation.

Traditions on the Beach has live music Wednesday through Saturday, featuring Joe McCormick, Marvilla Marzan and Barbara Smith. Reservations are suggested.
