MangoMania Tropical Fruit Festival tickets on sale now

Advance sale tickets for MangoMania Tropical Fruit Festival, which takes place on Friday and Saturday, July 30 and 31 on the grounds at the German-American Club on Pine Island, are now available at several locations.

The tickets are $5 each, a savings of $1 on general admission the days of the festival. TIB Bank is offering the tickets for sale at all their branches in Lee County including Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Pine Island. The tickets are also available at Stonegate Bank (previously SW Capital Bank) and SunTrust Bank on Pine Island as well as the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center.

MangoMania is shaping up to be an exciting two-day festival this year. Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event, and includes local favorites Soap Box, Mike Iambasciani, Stringtown, Caribbean Clint and the Mary Winters Band, with performances each day by the dance groups the Hot Flashz, the Calendar Girls and the Arthur Murray Dancers. Join in the tropical hat parade each day, participate in one of the games or contests, prepare you favorite mango recipe for the Food Judging contest, taste local mangoes and other tropical fruit, and experience “All Things Mango.”

Named one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast for July by the Southeast Tourism Society, MangoMania is sponsored by the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, Breeze Newspapers, the News-Press Media Group, LCEC, SW Florida Parrot, Coastal Gigs, Terrasi Media, the Lee County Visitors and Convention Bureau, Honc Industries, April’s Island Salon and Caloosa Tent and Rental.
