Writers read prose and poetry at BIG ARTS
The Sanibel-Captiva Island Writers will perform selections from their prose and poetic works on Thursday, March 10 at BIG ARTS, located at 900 Dunlop Road, on Sanibel. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Sanibel-Captiva Island Writers members have been meeting weekly since 1984 to read and critique each other’s work and share writing-related information. Currently, five groups of 10 writers comprise Island Writers.
The Spring Read will include writers Hazel Barber, Duke Barron, Don Brown, Raymond Buck, Nancy Carlile, Carol Ehrlich, Sandy Gadomski Sandy Greco, Tanya Hochschild, Jane Hogg, Francesca Joyce, Morton Levy, Joe Pacheco, Vivian Pyke, Joyce Rand, Karl Rodman, Al Smith, Lorraine Vail and Beth Ellen Warner.
Selections for this reading have been chosen by a panel for quality, listener friendliness and length.
Admission to the Spring Read is $5.
