MacGregor to speak at Gulf Coast Writers Association gathering

Award-winning News-Press cartoonist Doug MacGregor will address the Gulf Coast Writers Association on Saturday, April 17 beginning at 10 a.m. at Friendship Hall of Zion Lutheran Church, located at 7401 Winkler Road in Fort Myers. MacGregor will discuss “Creative Thought” and his latest book, “Get Creative: Turn On The Bright Side Of Your Brain.”

An editorial cartoonist for 30 years, MacGregor has written and illustrated several children’s books. He has also written songs which he performs with his band, Cracker Barrel.

Admission to the meeting is $5 for non-members, $3 for members, and first time visitors admitted free.
