Gulf Coast Writers Association hosts self-publishing lecture
This Saturday, June 21 starting at 10 a.m., James Abraham, a book publisher who specializes in helping authors who self-publish, will address the Gulf Coast Writers Association on the pitfalls and promise of self-publishing and offer tips on getting “the most book for one’s buck.”
The meeting and workshop will take place at Freedom Hall at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 7401 Winkler Road in Fort Myers.
Abraham has worked as a reporter, editor, editorial writer and columnist at the Sarasota Herald Tribune and the Charlotte Sun. He has written two books: “My Life and Times,” by Verda F. Welcome as told to James M. Abraham, Henry House Publishing, 1991; “Come Read With Me,” James M. Abraham, Vico Press, 2005.
Admission is $5 non-members, $3 members, and first time visitors are free.
