The city of Sanibel’s Recreation Department announced that it is seeking quotes for softball umpire services for fiscal year 2025, which will run from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30, 2025.

Umpires must be available in the evening to officiate adult softball games at the Sanibel Ball Field Complex, at 3840 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel.

Selected softball umpires must submit to and pass a criminal background check.

Quotes must contain the following information:

– Copy of current ASA certification(s)

– Copy of current AED/CPR/First Aid certification

– Copy of current liability insurance

– A minimum of three references

– Proposed per-game rate
