The Sanibel School, at 3840 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, reported the following:

OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULED

The school will hold an Open House on Aug. 8 for elementary school students from 5 to 6 p.m. and middle school students from 6 to 7 p.m.

Each session will begin with a brief assembly in the cafeteria, where families will receive information about the upcoming school year. Middle schoolers will receive their daily schedules.

Afterward, students will have the opportunity to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers.

School bus numbers and routes will be available at the Open House. Families will also be provided with their vehicle tags and pick-up volunteer applications.

In addition, representatives from the Sanibel Recreation Center, Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will have tables set up to provide information about their programs.
