Nick Klaas, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, found a junonia on July 17 at sunrise near the Sundial condominiums on Sanibel. Erin Klaas reported that her husband and she were visiting the island for the week with their three children. She noted that they got married on Bowman’s Beach in 2008 and this was their children’s second trip to Sanibel. Klaas added that it was her husband’s second junonia as he found his first one in 2018 while they were celebrating their 10th anniversary with their children. “This island holds a very special place in our hearts!” she said.
