Part of the Lee County Library System, the Captiva Memorial Library is offering the following free programming:

CHILDREN PROGRAMS

– May 15: Cute Pompom Caterpillar Craft

(daily during operating hours)

The library is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

ADULT PROGRAMS

– May 21: Online Author Event with Rebecca F. Kuang from 7 to 8 p.m.

Join Rebecca F. Kuang (R.F. Kuang) as she chats about her New York Times bestselling novel, “Yellowface.” “Yellowface” grapples with questions of diversity, racism and cultural appropriation, as well as the terrifying alienation of social media. Registration is required.
