Kingfisher Real Estate and Vacation Rentals hosted its first annual Matchmaker Adoption Event on Feb. 16 at The Community House on Sanibel. Organizers reported that it was a huge success as matches were made and funds were raised for rescue partners Cattails and More, Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida, Haven on Earth Animal League and Max’s Ark. Event supporters included: Joe and Shawna Lukens and Philip and Roberta Puschel as Bow Wow Wonderful Sponsors; Beacon Construction Group and Christy Donahue as Puurific Sponsors; and Buster’s Happy Tails, MHK Architecture and Ken and Pam Monahan as Permapuppy Sponsors.
