LEE COUNTY SHERRIF'S OFFICE Sheriff Carmine Marceno

The Sanibel-Captiva Republican Caucus will meet on March 16 at 10 a.m. at the Sanibel Public Library, at 770 Dunlop Road, Sanibel.

The guest speaker will be Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno.

He joined the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in 2013. Marceno was appointed as sheriff in 2018 and was elected in 2020. A graduate of the FBI National Academy, he has decades of law enforcement experience, beginning in New York, before moving to Florida in 1999. Marceno served 10 years at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. He has received multiple awards, including the Outstanding Law Enforcement Executive Award and Collier County’s Distinguished Public Service Award.

The meeting is open to the public.
