Glenn Noe, of Louisville, Kentucky, found a junonia on Jan. 30 at about 5:30 p.m. in front of the Signal Inn on Sanibel. Karen Noe reported that her husband was walking their dogs when he spotted the shell, which he believes rolled in on a recent wave. The couple have been spending three months out of the year at the Signal Inn for about 15 years. She added that it was their first junonia.
